Join Sunset Divers on the PADI Rescue course in Grand Cayman and transform the way you dive — in the best possible way! During this course, you will learn how to identify minor issues that can arise during a dive and fix them before they develop into much bigger problems.
The Grand Cayman PADI Rescue course will significantly improve your confidence in the water. By taking part in problem-solving skills and scenarios until they become second nature, you will become a more competent diver and a better buddy. This course is challenging, rewarding, and fun! It’s no surprise that so many divers say that it’s one of their favorites!
You can complete the eLearning section of the course online in your own time and at your own pace. This part of the course is payable directly to PADI.
The course’s in-water training consists of 10 rescue skills and two open-water scenarios and costs $460. Discounts are available for Sunset House guests.
A pre-requisite of the PADI Rescue course is a current (within 2 years) First Aid Course with CPR. If you don’t have this accreditation, we also provide a PADI EFR Course in Grand Cayman for an additional cost. If you need to take this course, please allow an extra day to complete it.
Please note, you must be comfortable treading water for 10 minutes in water that is too deep to stand up in. You must also be able to swim for 200 meters in any style and have the necessary physical fitness and medical condition to dive. Fill out our Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire prior to booking.
