Join our experienced, highly professional instructors for a morning 2-tank dive trip from one of our custom-built dive boats. Departing daily, we have a wide range of dive sites to choose from, all of which we can access by boat in minutes from Sunset House. Our morning excursions start with an amazing wall dive followed by a beautiful shallow reef. As with all our Grand Cayman diving trips, this morning adventure includes the amenities you would expect, including towels, fruit, water, and a camera rinse tank.
Check-in for our 2-Tank Morning Dive is at 7:30 am, where you’ll be welcomed with our renowned personal service. Two or three experienced instructors crew each boat to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, and from our west coast base, we head to the calmest, most appealing sites—whether Northwest Point, the West Wall, or Southside.
In the afternoons, guests on our dive packages can enjoy complimentary unlimited shore diving. Or why not join our 1-tank Kittiwake Dive and discover Grand Cayman’s most famous diving site? We can also arrange for a 1-tank reef dive trip.
We also offer standalone shore diving at Grand Cayman’s Sunset House Reef, a unique opportunity to explore our resort’s very own coral formation! And if you want to improve your dive skills during your stay, check out our range of PADI Grand Cayman scuba diving courses! Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about any of our dive trips and courses in Grand Cayman.
For the ultimate peace of mind, Sunset House provides DAN (Divers Alert Network) Membership & Dive Accident Coverage, allowing you to dive with complete confidence. If you’re looking for something more short-term, we also offer DAN temporary insurance, covering everything from a single day to 30 days.
Sunset Divers operates five custom boats with access to over 200 sites around Grand Cayman’s north, west, and south shores. Captains choose the best locations each day based on conditions, typically offering two guided dives—a wall dive (50–100 ft / 15–30 m) followed by a shallow reef or wreck (up to 60 ft / 18 m).
On board, you’ll find towels, fresh water, a “mystery fruit of the day,” tanks, weights, and even towel art. Each vessel is fully equipped with daily-checked safety gear, including first aid, oxygen, life jackets, life rings, fire extinguishers, and VHF radio.
This excursion is for certified divers only, ages 12 and up.
