The ‘discover’ course starts in the safe confined water of our resort pool before progressing to a leisurely, shallow guided dive on our house reef in front of the resort. Here, you can enjoy seeing the wide variety of marine life the Cayman Islands have to offer. Throughout this process, you will learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional.
We have made Grand Cayman scuba diving for beginners as easy as possible. Our course is an ideal first step for anyone who isn’t quite ready for a full PADI open water course. For example, have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater while remaining aware of your surroundings and following safety procedures?
With Discover Scuba Diving in Grand Cayman, you can find out! You do not need any prior scuba diving experience, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. The minimum age for joining the course is 10 years old.
